I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Miami, in May of 2016. I am a fifth year graduate student at Florida International University, pursuing my Ph.D in Industrial Organizational Psychology in the Power, Women & Relationships (PWR) Lab.
My research currently examines the effects of political affiliation membership in the workplace, and its effects on organizational hiring, and in supervisor-subordinate relationships. One of my goals in conducting research is to help organizations develop their human capital, and to improve company recruitment processes, selection procedures, and foster a positive workplace mentality and culture for employers and employees alike.
I have presented my research at conferences of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), in 2018 & 2019. (See Presentation Page)
I most recently completed a prestigious User Experience (UX) Research Internship at Facebook, in the Summer of 2020.
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be starting as a Full-Time UX Researcher at Facebook, July 2021!
